In presidential order no. 59/21 of 3 May, to which Lusa had access, João Lourenço refers that the agreement was approved under the Macroeconomic Stabilization and Financing of the Inclusive Development and Economic Diversification Policy of Angola.
Named Development Policy Financing Operation (DPF2), the agreement, points out the document, also arises from the need to "lay the foundations for sustainable growth, promote social and financial inclusion and the effective provision of public services" with the support of the Bank World (BM).
The Minister of Finance, Vera Daves, "is authorized, with the power to subdelegate", to sign the aforementioned financing agreement and all related documentation, in the name and representation of the Republic of Angola.
