BPC launches real estate platform with digital auctions. First phase foresees the sale of 239 properties

The Bank of Savings and Credit (BPC) launched a real estate platform for holding digital auctions, which will serve the bank, through its real estate company BPC Imobiliária (BPCI), to sell its own properties. According to the chairman of the bank's Board of Directors, António André Lopes, of a total of 480 properties, 239 real estate assets were put up for sale this Wednesday.

The official considered that the platform for holding virtual auctions creates sufficient logistical, technological and legal conditions for BPC to start selling the properties.

Cited by Angop, the official says it is an innovative service for selling real estate through digital auctions.

According to the official, the sale of the properties is part of the process of management and sale of non-core assets. In this first phase, 239 properties out of a total of 480 will be sold.

Of these 480 properties, 66 percent are located in urban areas and 34 percent in rural areas. According to Angop, more than half of the properties (80 percent) are located in Luanda, Bengo, Huíla and Benguela.

Those interested in purchasing properties should access the BPCI website. There are several types of sales, including prompt payment and bank financing - exclusive for BPC employees or for customers who have income housed in the bank.

Indicating that this process is part of another of the activities that are part of the bank's Restructuring Plan, the official praised the effort of the BPCI management in carrying out this project.

He also pointed out that this system will allow the bank to dispose of properties in a transparent, efficient and secure manner.

Óscar Rodrigues, PCA of BPCI, indicated that this platform's main objective is to guarantee customer satisfaction.
