Chinese cars from Chery arrive in Angola in April thanks to Salvador Caetano

Of Chinese origin, Chery arrives in Angola in April, where it will be publicly presented by its official importer in the country, the Salvador Caetano Group. Available in three different models and with full assistance for five years or 150 thousand kilometers, the cars promise comfort, technology and safety.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, the importer says that the brand has achieved "remarkable" sales performance all over the world, receiving awards that distinguish it.

According to data released by FENABRAVE (National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution), Chery was, for seven consecutive months, among the ten best-selling brands in Brazil, with one of its ranges being awarded the "Best Passenger Car" award year in 2021.

Despite the "chip shortage", which restricted the production capacity of all manufacturers, Chery's sales volume reached 110,281 units last November, 24.8 percent above the previous month.

In terms of exports, sales volume reached 24,942 units in November 2021, making the brand exceed the monthly quota of 20,000 vehicles exported for the seventh consecutive time during the same year.

"It is expected that in Angola, after its launch, sales will assume this ascending line, in line with the remaining markets where it is already established", concludes the document.
