The average time people spend watching television per day has also increased: last year Angolans spent 2 hours and 41 minutes watching television per day while in April this year the average number of hours spent was 3 hours and 45 minutes.

As for the population's favourite channels, TV Zimbo and TPA1 appear with the largest audience, followed by ZAP Viva.

The study also indicates that, compared to 2019, the news channels were the ones that most captured the attention of Angolans . Channels with soap opera and entertainment content saw their audience decline.

TPA1's news programme and Fala Angola's TV Zimbo were the most watched programs in April, reveals the study.

Of those surveyed, 19.2 percent said that presenter Ernesto Bartolomeu was their favourite, followed by Salu Gonçalves (11 percent) and Igor Benza, with 10.9 percent.

The study was conducted on 1531 people, of both sexes, over 15 years old, living in Luanda.
