Since its existence, Nova Sotecma has "always followed the evolution of the Angolan economy," first indicating the company's PCA, revealing that over these 25 years they have grown "a lot, in size, number of stores and employees, with a constant adaptation to the needs of the Angolan economy" and increased their portfolio of products and services.
The next few years will continue to be equally challenging and there are already some ideas to be developed: "We are developing new partnerships with reference brands".
This is the case with Rexnord, a worldwide brand that manufactures drive chains and sprockets, and Chicago Pneumatic, a company that produces professional pneumatic tools. "This way we will be able to increase our range of products for the food and beverage industries (through Rexnord solutions) as well as the mining and oil industries (through Chicago Pneumatic solutions)," explained Hélder Morais, adding that Nova Sotecma is also creating a "new e-commerce platform with the creation of an online store" - which is part of the measures taken by the company to overcome the difficulties imposed by the covid-19 pandemic.
The company operates in various areas of national industry, but the aim is to strengthen its image in the agro-industrial and agricultural sector. According to the founder of Nova Sotecma, referred to VerAngola, the company wants to invest in the "manufacture of machinery and equipment for the benefit of grains", market new agricultural implements and also strengthen the "supply of irrigation and irrigation systems and equipment".
With headquarters in Luanda and branches in Lobito and Viana Park, the company also wants to expand its facilities: in a direct way it wants to reach its stores in the provinces of Huila and Huambo and in an indirect way it wants to reach Cabinda and Uíge.
For the next 25 years, Nova Sotecma hopes to strengthen its "activity with the industry, pursuing the goal of continuing to make this 'the brand of Angolan industry', with a constant focus on customer satisfaction, providing the business fabric of solutions with the best quality and at the best price in the market".
