Country received another 150 ventilators to strengthen national health system

A further 150 non-invasive ventilators arrived in the country this Wednesday with the aim of strengthening the national health system's response to covid-19.

:

"The 150 fans we received will substantially strengthen our capacity to treat patients who may need ventilation", considered Leonardo Inocêncio, Secretary of State for Hospital Area, who was present at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport during the reception of the materials.

Cited by Angop, he also made it known that during the next few days the country will receive another 150 non-invasive ventilators.

Besides the fans, Angola also received surgical masks, N95 masks, more than 100 kits of biosafety suits, glasses, tripartite beds, gloves, gowns, among others.

Leonardo Inocêncio said these materials are part of a batch of 380 tons of safety material purchased from China.

He again said that the materials will continue to arrive in Angola through TAAG, to be later distributed to all the provinces.
