Named "Crystal Symphony", the aforementioned ship was in the Port of Namibe last Saturday.
According to a statement from the provincial government of Namibe, to which VerAngola had access, the 226 tourists who were on board this ship were from countries such as South Africa, Denmark, among others.
"This is the third cruise ship to arrive in Namibe in April. The ship 'Crystal Symphony' docked this Saturday at the Port of Namibe, with 226 tourists. On board are tourists from the United States of America, South Africa, Denmark, Russia and Poland", reads the note.
In that province, the visit program included stops at points such as the "Marginal, Lagoa do Arco, Serra da Leba and historical monuments".
"This influx of visitors boosts the region's economy and highlights Angola's natural and cultural beauty," the provincial government said.
After Namibe, the ship continued to Luanda, where it docked this Monday.
According to Angop, Angola is part of a tour that began ten days ago in Cape Town (South Africa) towards Lisbon (Portugal), with stops in between, in addition to Angola, in São Tomé and Príncipe, Cape Verde and Dakar (Senegal).
José Cabral, general director of the TravelGest agency, informed that the visitors will remain in Luanda until the end of the day this Monday. During their visit, they are expected to explore historical points of interest, including the Palácio de Ferro, the Anthropology, Military History and Slavery museums, as well as the Benfica Market and the Miradouro da Lua.
