"During the last week of the Easter school break, the CCL invites Angolan families to enjoy this unique space on the Luanda Marginal in a different way. With more free time, young students and their families can visit the old Soap Factory together on guided tours specially designed for families, and with a series of fun activities", the center informs, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
Thus, between this Tuesday and Thursday, a visit to the permanent exhibitions will be organized in the morning (10:30 am to 12:30 pm), and one in the afternoon (2:45 pm to 4:45 pm), while on Friday, "there will be two visits for each time slot".
"Participation in this activity is free and limited to 30 people per group. To participate, visitors must appear at the CCL on the day of their choice, starting at 9 am. When purchasing the ticket at reception, they must indicate that they want to participate in these guided tours. Then, just appear 10 minutes before the start of the activity, at a meeting point to be indicated", explains the CCL.
In addition to these visits, the "Fim de Férias em Ciência" program includes a set of "extra activities, for which you need to buy a ticket on the same day".
According to the CCL, this program includes the dynamics "Human Body Explorers" (Tuesday at 11:30 am and Thursday at 2:30 pm) and "Entomological Box" (Tuesday at 2:30 pm and Thursday at 11:30 am).
"On Wednesday, it will be the turn of the experiment in the Laboratory, 'Strawberry DNA Extraction' (11 am) and visitors will be able to make a pudding cake together (2:30 pm)," says the CCL.
For the last day of the "Fim de Férias em Ciência", activities are planned in the center's laboratory and kitchen. "On Friday, the last day of 'Fim de Férias em Ciência', the additional programming begins at 11 am with the Laboratory activity 'Micro-world: Exploring Invisible Life' and continues at 2:30 pm with the preparation of another pudding cake in the CCL Kitchen", reads the note.
In addition, the CCL planetarium will also have "several sessions available during this week, as per normal regime and subject to the planetarium's capacity".
