The national lottery, according to a statement cited by Jornal de Angola, was created with the aim of "offering Angolans a responsible, safe and transparent entertainment option".
According to the statement, the inaugural game (loto 5/90) already has approximately 500 agents in the country's capital, as well as a solid presence in the other provinces, through distribution partners, Kibabo, Sonangol, ElephantBet and Arreiou.
In the coming months, new modalities are expected to be introduced, such as totobola, instant lottery and angomilhões, increasing the gaming alternatives available.
Several government entities were present at the inauguration ceremony of the headquarters and launch of the national lottery, with emphasis on the Minister of Finance, as well as representatives of the Gaming Supervision Institute, among others.
