The visit is being invited by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and aims to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries.
Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to arrive in the country this Monday afternoon. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cited by Jornal de Angola, the president of Tanzania will land at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, being received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
During her visit to Angola, the Tanzanian president is expected to meet with her Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço. In this hearing, to be held at the Palácio da Cidade Alta, the two statesmen will hold a conversation focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Hassan's agenda also includes a visit to the Dr. António Agostinho Neto Memorial, where she will lay a wreath on the sarcophagus of the Founder of the Nation, as well as sign the book of honor, writes Jornal de Angola.
It should be remembered that political and diplomatic relations between Angola and Tanzania were officially established in 1976, shortly after the declaration of national independence.
