Restructuring of the Km 30 market will take place this year

According to the person responsible – who visited, last Saturday, the aforementioned market located in the municipality of Viana –, it is necessary to restructure the infrastructures and services, so that in the medium and long term conditions are created for the market to be capable of sustaining its expenses, writes Angop.

Furthermore, Jorge Minguês also met with sellers, who complained about the lack of customers due to the poor condition of the access road to the site.

Thus, the person responsible assessed the earthworks on two kilometers of the access road to the market, which began a week ago, and also stated that the rehabilitation of the market will include the asphalting of the main road, as well as the paving of the market areas, which become impassable when it rains.

"We are discussing to find ways, in the portfolio of the Provincial Government of Luanda, being one of the urgent works to be taken into account this year", he said, quoted by Angop.

Remember that in August last year, it was announced that the Km 30 market would benefit from access improvement works.

It should be noted that the Km 30 market currently has more than 5200 traders divided into 12 sales sections, receiving around 15 thousand people per day.
