Hélber, at 33 and 35 minutes, Chico, at 36, Anderson, at 39, and Chico, at 40, scored the goals for the Angolan team, while, on the opposite side, Banda, at 19, Phirl, at 32, 37 and 38 , and Chinyama, at 35, reduced the deficit.

At the end of the game, Marcos Antunes admitted that it was not an easy victory.

"It was an extremely difficult game, because Zambia is a great team, and we, in the first half, were a little asleep and hadn't done what we had prepared for the game, and the key moment was at half-time, when I appealed a little to the sense of state and country, and representation of the national team, and the athletes, in fact, gave the response we expected, and now we will fight with Ghana to get to the next stage", he said.

With this victory, Angola is one step closer to qualifying for the next phase, as they face Ghana, this Monday, in the third round.

The top two teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals, which qualifies the top three for the World Championship, in Uzbekistan, from September 14th to October 6th.
