According to a note from the Government of the Province of Luanda (GPL), this mobile office will bring the services of the National Housing Institute of the Ministry of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing closer to citizens.

"The services of the National Housing Institute of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing are now closer to the citizen, with the launch of the Luanda Mobile Office, an important initiative that aims to promote the legal regularization of nationalized and confiscated properties", reads the statement.

According to the GPL, this office is "equipped to track and register all of the State's housing assets and those that are under resolvable ownership or urban leasing".

On the occasion, the governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, explained that the program was created with the aim of "massifying and encouraging" people to "regularize their assets".

"It is a program created, with the support of the National Housing Institute of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, to expand and encourage citizens to regularize their assets", he pointed out, quoted by Jornal de Angola.

According to the governor, the regularization of properties is still a problem for Luanda residents.

"Luanda has several nationalized and confiscated properties that need to be regularized", considered Manuel Homem, adding that with the process of regularizing public assets, citizens now have countless possibilities to obtain bank financing, writes Jornal de Angola.

Thus, he said that this office will circulate through several municipalities in Luanda, aiming to enable people to have greater access to this service, thus being "a way of putting an end to the countless complaints" they receive.
