Speaking at the inauguration of the exhibition – called "Simbiose" –, Jânio Corrêa Victor considered that the works that comprise it manage to take the viewer to the "heart of the sector".

The person responsible said that the exhibition, "in addition to highlighting the essence of the mining and oil sector, also celebrates its vital importance for society", adding that "photographs in the form of art and other pictorial works have the power to take us to the heart of the sector", according to a statement from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, to which VerAngola had access.

Jânio Corrêa Victor, quoted in the note, considered that "this exhibition not only represents the beauty of the images, but also sheds light on the historical importance of the mining industry in our economy".

The artist Pedro Yaba considered it to be "a fantastic exhibition", having explained that its name ('Simbiose') "is a combination between painting and photography, a combination that is not easy to make due to the different characteristics of the two arts , but which was possible thanks to the harmony that exists between the arts", reads the statement.

According to the author, it is "an abstract representation of a concrete reality and a tribute to the Angolan mining sector".

The exhibition will be open to the public until next Saturday (April 27), in the Decompression Room of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas. It can be visited between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, and access is free.

At the inauguration, several figures related to the Mineral Resources and Hydrocarbons sector, culture and fashion were present.
