The lot includes 18 stones weighing more than 10.80 carats, of which two are from the Lulo production, two from the Uari production, one from the Chitotolo production, one from the Somiluana production and 12 from the Kaixepa production.
"Of the lot of 18 stones, the highlights are a pink stone from Somiluana, two pink stones from Kaipexa, and a 116.18 carat stone from Lulo", highlights Sodiam, indicating that this is the ninth rough diamond auction organized by the company state-owned diamond trading company, the last of which took place in December 2023.
According to the statement, the auction is organized in collaboration with the company Trans Atlantic Gem sales, in Luanda, and viewing sessions will take place between the 11th and 18th of this month, at Sodiam's headquarters offices.
The bidding process will be done electronically and the auction is aimed at customers registered in the Sodiam database, "who have 'expertise' in the marketing of special stones", detailed the company.
In previous auctions, Sodiam raised a global value of 211 million dollars.
