Speaking to the press at the end of a meeting with João Lourenço, which took place this Tuesday at the Presidential Palace, the special envoy said that there is still no scheduled date for the visit, however the "President of the Republic will respond to this message through the ministers of Angola's Foreign Affairs Teté António and Liberia's Foreign Affairs".

On the occasion, according to a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, the Liberian envoy also said that his country's government wants to collaborate with Angola in the sectors of diplomacy, trade, economic development and in other areas where the "Angolan Executive has recorded results positive".

He also admitted the possibility of expanding into areas such as agriculture, rural development, rule of law, education and tourism.

"We can also expand into areas such as agriculture, rural development, rule of law, education and tourism, because these are areas in which Angola has managed to achieve success, under the leadership of President João Lourenço. We believe that President João Lourenço's support for our recently elected president will be of great value, so that we can also follow the path of development", he stated.

For Al-Moustapha Kouyateh, the President of his country "views Angola as a great country", with leadership and governance experience, mainly "for having a President who is a Champion of Peace at the level of the African Union", reads the note.

He also considered that they have "a lot to learn from Angola": "We have a lot to learn from Angola, because, in truth, Liberia would not be Liberia without Angola, because many of our staff, in difficult times, passed through here".
