The amounts from the first disbursement are destined for projects to combat malaria and HIV/AIDS, as well as to promote family planning and the so-called Women in Agriculture program, according to a note from the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
The implementation letter will be signed this Wednesday, with USAID partners and the Angolan executive, and continues the process started on January 18 this year with the Angola/USAID 2024-2027 Convention Agreement.
The convention has three established goals: developing human capital, improving the business environment and promoting the resilience of the Angolan people and systems.
