Luanda: heavy rains leave one dead and over a thousand homes flooded

The heavy rains that fell in the last two days in Luanda caused the death of a child, the disappearance of other people, as well as left 1,141 homes flooded, informed the government of the province of Luanda.


According to the balance sheet of the last rains in the capital, the 15-year-old boy drowned in a pond in the urban district of Zango.

The rains affected 1143 families, and 270 trees fell.

According to the note, the search for missing people continues, noting that the forecasts of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inamet) point to the occurrence of rains with some intensity, therefore, they advise citizens to take preventive measures.
