The information was advanced by BAI, this Wednesday, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
"BAI – Banco Angolano de Investimentos is the Best Bank in Angola in 2023. This is the third consecutive time that Global Finance, a prestigious North American magazine specializing in finance, recognizes BAI as a leader in the national banking sector", reads in the note.
According to the president of the Executive Board (PCE) of BAI, Luís Lelis, quoted in the note, "this distinction is a source of pride and reflects the responsibility that BAI assumes every day with customers and partners, always with great seriousness, rigor and commitment".
This distinction, the statement said, is part of the 30th edition of the awards for the best banks in the world, and "also includes BAI among the 150 most outstanding financial institutions at a global level".
"BAI's recognition as the Best Bank in Angola in 2023 was based on factors such as profitability, asset growth, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development and product innovation", the statement also said.
