World's leading-selling television assembly creates more than a hundred jobs in the country

The installation of the world's number 1 selling television enabled the creation of more than a hundred jobs in the country. Last year, LG brought to Angolan soil the process of assembling the television leader in sales, having not only created jobs but also contributed to the development of Angola's economy.

"In an unavoidable bet on the national market, LG brought to Angola the process of assembling the most awarded television in the world - the OLED TV -, contributing to the development of the Angolan economy through the creation of more than 100 jobs", can read in a note sent to VerAngola.

According to the statement, the assembly process started in 2021 at the INOVIA factory – representing LG's official in Angola since 2018 – using raw material from LG's factory in Indonesia.

Currently, "the capacity of the assembly line is approximately 550" daily units for televisions, "depending on the demand and the size of the TVs".

The note also notes that, in Angola, the brand already has 26 employees, "joining INOVIA, which are also involved in the process, exceeds 100 jobs".

The increase in the number of stores as well as the establishment of new partnerships with resellers are also part of the brand's expansion plans.

At the moment, according to the statement, there are already resellers in Benguela and Huambo, "where customers can find some of the LG products available" and "soon this offer will also be extended to supermarkets and hypermarkets across the country" .

Cited in the statement, the brand's director, Seung Taek Ryu, said that they "always seek to develop technologies that facilitate and improve the daily lives" of their customers.

"In the TV segment, for example, OLED panels that are produced only by LG Displays contain pixels that light up, unlike conventional panels that require backlighting, which enhances contrast and results in much more defined colors, practically real," he added.

It should be noted that the OLED TV "is the top of the range of televisions, a combination of innovative technology, elegant design, with features tailored to the consumer, including ergonomic features".
