Luanda plans to vaccinate 34,000 children at World Vaccination Week

At least 34 thousand children under the age of five must be vaccinated in Luanda, in order to close the low vaccination coverage, within the scope of the World Vaccination Week that started this Friday in the capital.

:

The World Vaccination Week in Luanda started in the Sagrada Esperança neighborhood, in the urban district of Maianga and was chaired by the deputy governor of Luanda, Dionísio Fonseca.

BCG, Polio, Hepatitis B, Pentavalent, Pneumo 13, Measles, Rubella, Yellow Fever and Tetanus Toxoid are the vaccines that will be given to children in Luanda for five days.

According to a note from the Administrative Commission of the City of Luanda, "taking into account the low vaccination coverage", the provincial health office will carry out an "intensification of vaccination" during the week.
