"Nossa Seguros recorded a net profit of more than five billion kwanzas in 2020, which represents an increase of 25 percent over the previous year; the solvency margin reached 248 percent, well above the double required by law, the which contributed to the reinforcement of the company's strength and solidity ", reads a statement from this insurance company belonging to the BAI - Banco Angolano de Investimentos group.
"The achievement of the 2020 targets reflects the confidence of customers, the support of our shareholders and business partners and the unequivocal resilience and spirit of mission of all employees, to whom we are deeply grateful", commented the chairman of the executive committee, Alexandre Career, quoted in the statement.
"We look forward to a 2021 year of challenges, but also of opportunities," added the leader of Nossa Seguros, one of the four largest national insurers, with a market share of around 10 percent, according to company information.
