In a statement sent to VerAngola, Angoalissar reveals that this initiative will continue until the end of this month. In total, around 6500 families will benefit from the initiative, which will receive "basic necessities such as rice, beans, sugar, pasta, wheat flour, vats, condensed milk and powdered milk, among others".
The note also indicates that the food will be distributed to families living in the provinces of Cunene, Namibe, Huila, Kwanza Norte and Cabinda, "with the main focus on the most needy municipalities, namely the municipality of Curoca, considered one of the poorest regions in the country.
The company will also benefit health professionals: individual protection equipment will be donated "so that health professionals can carry out their work safely, as well as quick test kits for the identification of coronavirus cases".
The communiqué also indicates that two thousand baskets will be donated to Angoalissar workers.
