In a message issued by the President's Civil House, regarding the Angolan Youth Day, João Lourenço urges each young person, "above any party affiliation, religious belief, ethnic origin, level of education or social condition" to become an "agent of mobilization and awareness among the population" so that "the danger (...) is overcome with a minimum of human and economic loss".
The Chief Executive also guarantees that "the State will continue to play its role, approving and stimulating economic and social policies that benefit young people and help them to realise their dreams and aspirations more quickly", regardless of "adverse economic factors".
It also leaves "a message of comfort and gratitude to this fundamental fringe of the population, in recognition of their dedication to higher causes, often to the detriment of their individual ambitions".
