According to a note from Parliament's communication and image office, this is the single point of the 3rd extraordinary plenary meeting of Parliament.

As part of the preventive measures to prevent and combat covid-19, the National Assembly has postponed the ordinary plenary meetings indefinitely.

Angola enters this Wednesday on the 13th day of the state of emergency, which can be extended by 15 days, a measure decreed by the President, João Lourenço, on 27 March, as a way to contain the spread of the new coronavirus, and which continues until 23h59 on 11 April.

The state of emergency requires a series of measures to be observed, including restrictions on the movement of people, the closure of schools, churches, museums and other institutions, as well as restaurants and establishments selling non-food products, limiting market hours, reducing the limit on passengers on public transport, prohibiting sports competitions, religious cults and crowds of people, etc.

Angola announced on Tuesday its 17th positive case of infection with the new coronavirus, with two deaths.
