Thus, the country maintains the 19 previously identified cases, of which there are two deaths and four recovered patients, with the remaining patients being “stable”.

Franco Mufinda indicated that the Integrated Center for Public Security has not received reports of violations of home quarantine in the past 24 hours, although he recorded two alerts, one of which "was investigated and discarded because it was not a suspicious case".

Just over 1000 people are serving home and institutional quarantine, and 111 have been discharged in the past 24 hours.

"We continue with 365 suspicious cases and we follow another 696," said the Secretary of State.

1182 samples have been processed to date, six of which are currently being processed.

According to Franco Mufinda, the training center of the Multiperfil Clinic began this Monday to train non-intensive care doctors to handle patients who may need specialized care, especially with regard to the use of ventilators.

The new coronavirus, responsible for the covid-19 pandemic, has already claimed more than 117,000 deaths and infected almost 1.9 million people in 193 countries and territories.
