Deloitte clarifies companies and workers on support measures announced by the Government

A series of webcasts will be promoted - audio and video broadcasts - where Angolan companies can find out in detail the new measures announced by the Government to support the economy.

The initiative is from Deloitte, and the objective is to "manage and mitigate the risk for organizations and workers" in the context of the covid-19 pandemic, the company says in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The next webcast is this Thursday, April 16, between 10 am and 11 am. This transmission aims to clarify on the theme "Extension of the State of Emergency related to the Covid-19 pandemic and new temporary exception measures with an impact on companies and workers".

The session will be conducted by Milton Melo, Deloitte's tax professional, Carla Barreto, lawyer at CTSU Advogados, and Chiara Sampaio, lawyer by Carlos Alberto de Freitas - Lawyer, who intend to clarify the doubts of businessmen and citizens regarding the support measures announced by the Government in the fight against the pandemic and to make known some practical aspects with a view to its implementation.

"The Angolan business fabric plays a decisive role in reducing the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this sense, Deloitte creates this set of webcasts which, we believe, will provide national entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to be able to access the measures support from the Government and, thus, help to overcome the current situation ", explains José Barata, President of Deloitte Angola, in the statement.
