The pandemic has changed the way of life around the world and has even reached the world of cinema. In Luanda, the mini-series "Covid-19 - The Invisible Enemy" is being recorded and produced, which will portray the way the virus spreads and its impact.

Directed by Henrique Narciso "Dito", the production will soon be broadcast on the Angolan Public Television (TPA) and will have a total of five episodes, reports Jornal de Angola.

The first episode, called "Contamination", focuses on involuntary contagion: a young salesman is infected with the virus through a buyer. Without knowing he is infected, the young man ends up infecting his family, neighbours and friends, creating a community contagion that eventually affects everyone in his neighbourhood.

The second episode tells the story of a young man who refuses to comply with the rules and care for protection against the virus. The young man's recklessness ends up costing him dearly after contaminating his family.

This Thursday, the team returns to work to record the third episode. Called "Contamination 2", it will focus on the different ways of contaminating the new coranavirus on the outskirts of the capital.

The series began to be filmed at the end of March and, according to the director, the aim is to portray the most dangerous attitudes and behaviours towards covid-19, making the population aware of the risks of transmitting the virus.

"Unfortunately, people only consider the danger after bad luck knocks on their door. To take a subject like this in the form of a moving image associated with sound, people perceive it easily", explained Henrique Narciso.
