The delegation, which arrived in Angola last Sunday, is composed of Carlos Kneisser, Vice President of Development for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), and Esteban Lozado, Development Manager for North, West and South Africa, of the Hilton Group.
The first day of work of the delegation from the aforementioned hotel group in Angola, marked this Monday, was filled with visits to several locations that "offer attractive investment opportunities".
In this sense, according to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism to which VerAngola had access, Carlos Kneisser and Esteban Lozado began the journey with a visit to the Cabo Ledo Tourist Development Center, and "the Master Plan for the area was presented to them, which defines the priority areas for tourist investment".
"The delegation visited the beautiful and iconic surfers' beach, Gabriel beach, the Sangano Tourist Complex and the Mangais Farm, having demonstrated notable admiration for the beauty of the natural landscape and the beaches", reads the statement.
During the afternoon of Monday, the delegation took a guided tour of the new Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, having been "informed about how it works, as well as about the opportunities for tourist investment in the new airport city".
"During this visit, they demonstrated great interest in investing in the 5-star hotel unit that is under construction, as they understand that this type of investment within an airport of this size is of great value to boost tourism," says the statement.
The journey continues this Tuesday (second and last day of work), whose agenda includes a meeting with the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, as well as a visit to the Mussulo peninsula.
"Hilton Hotels & Resorts is a hotel chain founded by Conrad Hilton, in Texas (United States of America), in 1925 and currently has around 2,500 hotels in more than 80 countries", says the guardianship.
