"More than 60 buses from different operators will be available in a special service to guarantee the transportation of fans at the 11 de Novembro National Stadium, heading to all municipalities in Luanda, after the game between the 'Palancas Negras' team and Cape Verde", explains the GPL, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.

The decision came out of a consultation meeting held last Friday. At this meeting, says GPL, "lighting and public safety services were also ensured, in addition to defining measures to guarantee the best conditions for the mass participation of fans".

"The stadium's access gates will be open from 2 pm, with tickets being sold from 1000 kwanzas", the provincial government also highlights.

This Tuesday's game, which is scheduled for 5 pm, is part of the sixth round of the group stage of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19, in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

This Monday, in a preview of the match with Cape Verde, the national coach considered that Angola has the "capacity to win".

Pedro Gonçalves pointed out the fact that Cape Verde is ahead of Angola in the ranking, but pointed out that Angola's "level of sporting value" is higher.

"Cape Verde, a team that has been ahead of us in the rankings for many years (...). Lately, given our sporting growth, we are getting closer and I believe that in terms of sporting value we are superior. We have to prove it, more than words we have to be effective in our actions", said Pedro Gonçalves, considering that it will be an "extremely demanding" game.

At the press conference on Monday, the coach also said that it will be a party among friends: "I believe it will be a party atmosphere among friends, among people who share more than one language. There is a very strong closeness between Angola and Cape Verde (...). Therefore, it will certainly be a celebration of African football, a celebration of Portuguese-speaking football".

"When the ball starts rolling, both we and they will certainly want to outdo our rivals, and I believe that we have the ability to overcome Cape Verde. Now, we have to prove it," he added.

Pedro Gonçalves also said that the objective is to win: "I sincerely want to win, I'm not worried if we're going to win by a lot, that's not the focus, our focus is really to overcome the opponent, it's important for us and we're going with a lot of determination to achieve it".

Angola's squad will undergo a change for Tuesday's game. According to a statement from the Angolan Football Federation, to which VerAngola had access, the national team coach decided to call up Agostinho Calunga, after Dominique due to medical leave.

"The Angolan National Team, affectionately known as 'Palancas Negra', announces a change in its squad for the next match. Due to medical leave, goalkeeper Signori António 'Dominique' leaves his place for Agostinho Calunga, from Wiliete Sport Clube de Benguela. This will be Calunga's second call-up for the Angolan national team", says the note.
