With this result, Petro sees Wiliete close in on the championship lead, now just two points behind. The first-placed team maintained its 50 points, while Wiliete now has 48 points. In third place is 1.º de Agosto, with 39.
In the capital, the Estádio dos Coqueiros saw Luanda City draw 1-1 with 1.º de Agosto. The goals were scored by Tombé, who scored in extra time for the 'military' team, and by Cuxixima, who in the 66th minute restored parity for Luanda City, who remains in 13th place.
Moving on to Uíge, Santa Rita de Cássia lost 1-0 to São Salvador do Zaire, in a match marked by the home team's poor performance. The only goal of the match was scored by Lito in the 32nd minute.
Also on Sunday, Bravos do Maquis won 2-0 away to Kabuscorp do Palanca, at the 22 de Junho Stadium. The goals were scored by Cueta in the 49th minute and Nigo in the 68th.
On Saturday, Académica do Lobito beat Sagrada Esperança 1-0. The goal was scored by Maninho in the 81st minute, at the Buraco Stadium, in the province of Benguela.
On the same day, Isaac de Benguela drew 2-2 at home to Recreativo do Libolo, with goals from Valente in the 56th and 90+4 minutes, while Pneu in the 33rd minute and Yamba Bélcio in the 81st minute, an own goal, scored for the visitors.
The match between Desportivo da Lunda Sul and Carmona FC did not take place due to a travel problem on the part of the visitors.
The match between Interclube and Desportivo da Huíla will only take place next Tuesday, the 18th, at the 22 de Junho Stadium in Luanda.
