Speaking at the IV Bodiva Forum, held this Thursday with the aim of presenting the Annual Market Report, the director explained that the aforementioned exchange consists of a virtual space, in which producers have the possibility of selling products.

Quoted by Jornal de Angola, Dilson Gaspar also clarified that, in this market, there are also buyers who are interested, enabling cash or future negotiations.

The administrator also pointed out the fact that this stock exchange symbolizes the clear strategy and purpose to expand financing to the country's real economy.

In the outlook for 2025, Bodiva's market development plans include the launch of the Commodities Exchange, included in the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, to support the agricultural sector.

"The Commodities Exchange is a very large and complex project in its implementation, but it is possible. This year we are talking to several stakeholders [Government, farmers' associations, entities that manage agricultural logistics] to understand the best model, the most adjusted one, to implement the commodities exchange", added the director of Bodiva.

At the forum, according to Jornal de Angola, it was also announced that more than 10 thousand deals were carried out by Bodiva last year, representing a doubling compared to 2023.
