According to a post shared on the Angolan singer's Instagram, which VerAngola had access to, the tour began in São Paulo on February 27.

On that day, the "queen of kuduro" took Angolan culture to SESC Campinas (an art school), and the following day, she visited SESC Pompeia.

On the 1st of this month, Pongo headed to Salvador (in the Brazilian state of Bahia) to participate in the Trio da Cultura, at the invitation of the Brazilian Minister of Culture Margareth Menezes.

According to a statement quoted by Angop, the parade was full of cultural representations and marked one of the most emblematic moments of her visit to Brazil, combining Angolan music with the excitement of Bahia's Carnival.

After that, the Angolan singer and composer left for Recife, where on March 2nd she participated in the Recife Carnival and on the 3rd she was at the Rec Beat carnival festival.

According to the statement, "during the performance, Pongo invited fans to come up on stage and dance to 'Wegue Wegue', his biggest hit from his time with Buraca Som Sistema, creating a vibrant communion between artist and audience".

Currently living in Portugal, singer Pongo started out in the group Denon Squad, but became known for the song 'Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)' with Buraka Som Sistema.
