During the conference "20 Years of the Capital Market", BAI's Market Relations Officer, Fábio Correia, highlighted that accelerating the privatisation process will bring more benefits to the Angolan economy and will attract more investors to the financial sector.
Regarding reporting obligations, BAI has ensured the regular disclosure of financial information, strictly complying with the requirements of the regulators.
Financial reports are presented quarterly and consolidated in audited half-yearly and annual documents, in a process that requires daily monitoring.
Regarding the next steps for the sector, he said that there is a good chance that the Research, Investment and Asset Management areas will be aligned for the next wave of opportunities for national Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
