The winners stood out among national citizens for their creativity, thematic content and notoriety, writes Angop.

On the occasion, Miguel Ângelo, general director of Consumer Choice, explained that the reason they chose to bring this project to Angola is related to the achievement of this distinction in other countries over a decade ago, reflecting the voice of the consumer.

According to the person responsible – cited by Angop – the initiative allows us to bring greater clarity and information to the market, as well as better understand consumer choices and bring improvements to offer and performance.

"In 'Consumer Choice', people and brands come first, giving the consumer a voice and valuing brands is one of the basic principles of this international evaluation system, with this mission, 'Consumer Choice' drives the improvement of business and market ecosystem, in a relationship in which everyone, companies and consumers, wins", he said.

The winners receive a symbolic prize, as well as being able to use the 'Consumer Choice' seal in their communication throughout the year in which they received the prize. According to Miguel Ângelo, who cited data from 'Consumer Choice', after presenting these awards, in other international initiatives, the winners have seen their sales grow between 5 and 35 percent, depending on the category.
