Handball: Angola beats Cameroon and is in the final of the African Games

The national senior women's handball team is in the final of the 13th edition of the African Games. The passage to the next stage of the competition took place, this Wednesday, after the ‘Pérolas’ beat their counterpart Cameroon, in a game counting for the semi-finals.

The national team won with a significant advantage: the match was 35-16, with Angola winning by a difference of 19 points.

Thus, the national team continues in the competition, which takes place in Accra, Ghana.

Scheduled for next Friday (22nd March), at 4pm local time (5pm in Angola), in the final Angola will compete for the title with the team that wins the game between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Algeria, which also takes place this Wednesday.

Remember that the national team has not lost any game in the competition so far.

The 'Pérolas' won all three group stage games, where they faced Algeria (38-18), Ghana (35-15) and Burkina Faso (47-13).
