MPLA launches political agenda for 2023 in Bié

The Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) will launch its political agenda on Saturday, in Bié province, announced the secretary for information of the Political Bureau of that political organisation.

Rui Falcão Pinto de Andrade said at the end of the MPLA Political Bureau meeting, held this Monday under the guidance of President João Lourenço, that the political marketing strategy, the replacement of second provincial secretaries of some provinces and the activity report for the last quarter.

According to the MPLA spokesperson, a Central Committee meeting is scheduled for March 31 to analyze these and other issues.

“The Political Bureau met to approve some documents that will go to the next meeting of the Central Committee, especially the 2023 political agenda, as you know it will be launched on the 11th”, he said.

The meeting also approved the composition of the party's distinction commission, which will work to distinguish some militants with a well-known trajectory, and the MPLA's communication strategy was also approved.

The Secretary for Information of the MPLA Political Bureau underlined that the party intends to “improve everything, from infrastructure to organization”.

“Methods change, technology changes, some things need to be improved and we are going to do it, we are not going to anticipate the presentation of the agenda, we will do it on the 11th”, he stressed.
