"Bilateral relations between Portugal and Angola, including in the economic field and in the field of cooperation, the perspectives within the framework of the Angolan Presidency of the CPLP, relations with the European Union, as well as issues on the regional and international agenda are part of the agenda", said the communiqué released on Sunday by the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This Monday, at the Palácio das Necessidades, the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, João Gomes Cravinho, receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Téte António, to also discuss the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of the two countries, in addition to the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of CPLP Ministers.
The next CPLP summit will take place in August, in São Tomé and Príncipe, the country that will then assume the presidency of the organization, dedicated to "youth and sustainability".
Currently, the presidency is exercised by Angola.
The CPLP is made up of Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor.
