"It is worth mentioning that we have around 100 exhibitors, including companies from the agricultural sector, services, banking, catering, among others," said Victor Panzo, spokesman for the fair, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
The official also highlighted that the event is not "restricted" only to Namibe, assuming a national character as they have companies from other provinces of the country. "It should be noted that this fair is not restricted to the province of Namibe, but is a national fair because we have companies here from Luanda, Huíla, Benguela, Cuanza Sul, Cunene", he informed.
According to Victor Panzo, the event will also include a cattle auction: "We will have the great cattle auction".
"After the auction, we're going to have a surprise, we're going to do a raffle to give away some people that happen to be (...). So you are all welcome, let's hold this business fair because it is a great opportunity for us to do trade, when I say do I am talking about entrepreneurs from the most varied sectors", said the spokesperson for the fair, quoted by RNA.
In terms of activities, the official said that on the first day there will be two panels, one on projects and financing facilities for agricultural activity and another on the state of livestock in Namibe province. "We will have two interesting panels on the first day, one of them will address projects and financing facilities for agricultural activity and another panel we will address the state of livestock in Namibe province and that, of course, with other subtopics to talk about cattle, goats, sheep, among others", he said, quoted by RNA.
In addition, the official said that there is still a novelty related to the creation of camels in Namibe, with a view to promoting tourism.
"And there is something new, we are also going to talk about the creation and promotion of camels here in our province of Namibe, since we have the desert here and I know that there is a partnership between Namibe and Dubai so that we can implement this type of animals here for the promotion of tourism and there are many curious people who want to know about it, at the fair they will be able to have a lot of information", added Victor Panzo, quoted by RNA.
