BNI and Moneygram resume partnership for sending money abroad

BNI and Moneygram resumed, this Monday (March 27th), the partnership they had in the past, aimed at facilitating the transfer of money abroad, whose remittance limits are set at the amount in kwanzas equivalent to 5000 dollars/ month per customer.

That is, the BNI bank will provide transfers abroad through the Moneygram platform.

"On March 27, Banco BNI and Moneygram resume the partnership they had in the past and which will enable each bank customer to send abroad the equivalent in kwanzas of 5000 dollars", reads a statement from the bank, forwarded to VerAngola.

The said partnership, which is strategic, enables "customers, in a first phase, to use the service in 35 branches across the country", says the note, which adds that it also allows them to "send money, quickly, to more than 200 countries, in which Moneygram is currently present and operating".

The bank also informs that the transfers of amounts to be moved will be "made and received in kwanzas, depending on the availability of the existing plafond and the regulatory limits defined by the National Bank of Angola".

For the management of BNI, adds the statement, this is an important date, "not only because it resumes work with an old partner, but also" because it makes available again "a service that is of extreme importance to its customers".

"We must not forget that many of our customers have close relatives abroad who, for reasons of education or illness, need regular financial support. Knowing that we can support them, providing them with the values they need abroad is very important. important for the bank. Or, simply, being able to provide tools to our customers that enable them to enjoy a family vacation or to carry out a business trip", he stresses, quoted in the note.

The statement also recalls that "Moneygram is one of the main international players in money transfer and payment services worldwide, recognized for offering an easy and reliable remittance platform, and for creating an effective financial connection between users", adding that the bank and the platform "share this purpose and objective, and work in partnership to provide their customers with easy and adequate solutions to their daily needs".
