Luanda receives 95 new buses this Friday

Transport in the capital will be reinforced this Friday, March 18th, with 95 new buses, 35 of which are articulated.

The official ceremony for the delivery of means of transport will take place in Centralidade do Sequele, municipality of Cacuaco, and will be witnessed by the Minister of Transport, Ricardo Viegas D'Abreu, and by the governor of Luanda province, Ana Paula de Carvalho.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, of the 95 new buses, 35 are Scania articulated vehicles and 60 standard Volkswagen buses, which aim to "increase the transport offer in the capital".

These new buses "will be introduced in the routes of Avenida Deolinda Rodrigues, Via 21 de Janeiro, Benfica, Cacuaco and Avenida Pedro de Castro Van-Dúnem Loy".

The note also notes that the delivery of these buses takes place within the scope of the plan to reinforce collective urban passenger transport throughout the country.
