BUAP are now open on weekends

The One-Stop Public Service Desks (BUAP) will be open on weekends. According to the Ministry of Territory Administration, the counters will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays.

:

Fernando Manuel, national director of the official registration – who was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting that the Minister of Territory Administration, Marcy Lopes, had with university students, this Wednesday, in order to raise awareness and clarify them about the electoral registration – explained that there are several mechanisms for accessing the registry.

"We have other mechanisms that young people can access, starting with a telephone terminal (136), we also have a URL that is www.meuresto.gov.ao, people can access it and there they can know their electoral registration status", said, quoted by the Public Television of Angola (TPA).

Regarding the meeting, the official indicated that the young people are committed to using the BUAP to update their data: "The young people here are committed to accessing the BUAP to update, because without updating, they will certainly not be able to exercise their right to vote, will not be able to participate in the party of democracy, this was the commitment that we made here on the part of the young people".

It should be noted that the country has 597 service desks in operation and that the electoral registration process ends in approximately two weeks, on 31 March.
