‘Tá Seguro’ creates application that facilitates quick access to police, fire and medical emergencies

The company 'Tá Seguro' has developed an application that helps citizens to quickly access police, fire and medical emergency services, in order to facilitate the registration of occurrences and ensure faster responses by these bodies.

:

The application, with the same name as the company, wants to be a support in the fight against problems such as robberies, domestic violence, accidents on the public road, pedestrians, fires, drownings and other emergency situations.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, these occurrences can be dealt with more quickly and accurately thanks to the application's features: capturing images and videos at the location of the occurrence, identifying the type of problem, sharing the address and sending the information in real time for the promoted institution.

In an initial phase of the application – 'Tá Seguro' – the citizen will be able to download it for free. The project is in the pilot phase, being developed in collaboration with the National Police and Fire Brigade.

The creators estimate the response time between the citizen and the services to be between 30 minutes to an hour. "Our objective is to reduce the response time in order to serve a greater number of citizens in a practical and effective way, ensuring greater safety and comfort for society with the aim of saving lives", says the company.
