On the 3rd of April, within the scope of Doc Luanda, there will be a tribute session to Gita Cerveira.
The event will take place at Camões - Centro Cultural Português in Luanda, at 6 pm.
Gita Cerveira was born and raised in Luanda. In 1975, she joined the staff of TPA, having worked on films by Ruy Duarte de Carvalho, António Ole, João Jardim, Carlos Henriques, among others. Five years later she went to Paris, where she lived until 1996.
It should be noted that in Portugal, New York, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Mauritius and Madagascar she worked with important and historic names in world cinema. She was also nominated for the Césars in France among other awards.
