National Police has 1083 FAA licensees

A total of 1083 graduates of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) joined the National Police this week. The entry of new officers takes place after they have attended a course in police techniques.

:

Lasting 45 days, the course took place at the Soldiers' Training Center 'Heroes de Kangamba', in Huambo province.

The closing ceremony of the basic police course was guided by Eugénio Laborinho, Minister of the Interior.

According to Angop, the finalists of the training will be distributed among the provincial commands of the country.

The Interior minister said that the entry of these new personnel reflects a strengthening of policies to reinforce public security.

The minister, quoted by Angop, took the opportunity to appeal to the new police officers to adopt the skills acquired during the course, with the aim of fully performing their duties.

He also took the opportunity to talk about the general elections, indicating that it is a great challenge for the security forces: "This challenge requires the police forces to improve their knowledge, so that the measures leading to the materialization of the strategic plan to ensure the election, before, during and after, is a fact".
