Kinda Home, which operates in the furniture and decoration business, will open a store in Lisbon. According to the company's CEO, John Leitão, the brand should arrive in the Portuguese capital "very soon, in the coming weeks.

:

John Leitão, in declarations to Jornal de Negócios, made it known that the store will have about 500 square meters and is the result "of an investment of more than 500 thousand euros".

The store will be installed in the old Glória Garage, "which in times past was the most crowded and well attended of the city", he said, adding that the new bet of the brand will allow "to create nine jobs".

The CEO of the brand also advanced that the space, located on Avenida António Augusto Aguiar, is not owned by the company, having been rented. Curiously, the owner of the infrastructure is António Cristas, the father of the former Portuguese Minister and former leader of the CDS-PP party, Assunção Cristas.

Owned by the Portuguese group Nuvi, Kinda Home began to establish itself in the Angolan market in 2013, and currently has four stores open in Angolan territory.

The Nuvi group - which is present in several business areas in Angola, owning Refriango - decided to expand the furniture and decoration chain across borders: in November 2018 it opened its first Kinda Home in Portugal. Installed in the former building of the bankrupt Moviflor, in the center of Porto, the store had an investment of about 25 million euros.

The expansion plan continued to grow and, the brand also has a store in Oeiras Parque, which has about 550 square meters and where more than 500 thousand euros were invested, writes the same newspaper.

In addition, Kinda Home is also building another store in Alfragide, in Amadora. The project, which is advancing slowly, will be installed on the site of the former electrical conductor factory Diogo d'Ávila and is also budgeted at 25 million euros.
