According to an official source, on Tuesday two planes leave from Lisbon, one to Luanda (Angola) and the other to Maputo (Mozambique) to carry out repatriation flights of Portuguese citizens to Lisbon on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, a plane leaves from Beja for Cape Verde to operate a repatriation flight for Portuguese citizens on Thursday.
With the intensification of the outbreak of Covid-19 disease, repatriation flights for Portuguese citizens from Portuguese-speaking African countries to Portugal have been taking place.
In Portugal, according to the balance made on Saturday by the Directorate General of Health, there were 119 deaths, 19 more than the day before (19 per cent), and there were 5,962 cases of confirmed infections, 792 more than on Saturday (15.3 per cent).
Of those infected, 486 are hospitalized, 138 of them in intensive care units, and there are 43 patients who have recovered.
