Horário Cruz, pilot and general secretary of the SPLA, considered that this issue has been dragging on for quite some time: "the union has reached the limit of reasonability".
In a statement to the VOA, Horácio Cruz said that the class wants the airline to make the salary adjustment based on what was agreed in 2005, adding that the structure will meet in a general meeting of workers to adopt a position.
The negotiations between TAAG and the union could "have several scenarios as an outcome," he added.
It is recalled that last week TAAG announced that it "did not have the financial capacity to carry out any salary readjustments, as the company's pilots claim".
