The ambassador spoke about the possible creation of the chamber of commerce during a meeting with the mayor and finance director of Canton Uri in Switzerland.
Cecilia Rosario said the creation of the chamber would help leverage investments in the country, especially in agriculture, livestock, agro-industry and transport.
The person in charge, cited by Angop, also said that this partnership would boost the growth of the national economy.
According to the ambassador, the country has what it needs to grow, but needs help, she said, considering that Angola still lacks experience, technology and scientific capacity to develop. However, the ambassador believes that this will be possible with the help of Switzerland.
The mayor of Canton Uri has shown openness to the possible creation of the chamber of commerce. According to Angop, the governor said that such a partnership would help the trade balance and also promote economic, commercial and industrial relations between the two countries, facilitating trade between Angola and Switzerland in the future.
