Red Tag: country's first department store opens this week

The first floor of Belas Shopping marks the debut of a concept yet to be explored in Angola: the ‘department stores’. These stores bring together a wide variety of products in one place, in this case: men's, women's, children's, baby's fashion and home decor.

RedTag promises “fair prices” on a wide variety of items in this first bet in Angola, which opens on Friday, March 13.

In a total of 1400 square meters, the brand promises to invest in the “innovation, timeliness and versatility” of the fashion and decoration collections.

He also mentions, in a statement sent to VerAngola, that he intends to "democratize access to quality clothing for all Angolan families, providing a unique and different shopping experience from what currently exists in Angola".

The opening of the RedTag brand allowed the creation of 38 direct jobs for nationals and, mainly, young people. 50 indirect jobs were also created.

The brand, originally from Dubai, is present in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania and now in Angola. In total it has 215 stores.
